    At 1100 AM HST (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone
    Hernan was located near latitude 15.8 North, longitude 135.9 West.
    The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19
    km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue through the
    next few days.
     
    Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
    Slow weakening is forecast to occur over the next couple of days
    before dissipation occurs on Tuesday.
     
    The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).

    forecast to degenerate to a remnant low pressure area later today.

    Slow weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Hernan is 
    forecast to become a post-tropical cyclone within the next day or 
    so.
